Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Certified Lymphatic Drainage

I am Certified at a Bachelor Degree level in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and standardized measuring. Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure, bruising, swelling, scar prevention and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, MLD can be used for a wide range of purposes including oncologist approved lymphadema relief, faster recovery from injury, anti-aging, acne, rosacea, eczema, reduction of swelling and discomfort from post op surgery, scar prevention,burns, Bells Palsy,  Glaucoma, Alzheimer’s, alopecia, pregnancy, autoimmune disorders (ie:lupus) and strengthened resistance to illness.

Thai Massage on the Table

Thai Massage is a ancient treatment that combines Acupressure, Deep Compression and Passive Yoga Stretching. We proceed at a slower pace, however, massage can be very strong. It increases range of motion and flexibility, improves balance and posture, releases fascial restrictions, reduces stress & anxiety and promotes restful sleep. 

Traditional Thai Foot Massage

Tradition Thai Foot Massage is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the feet and lower legs. It is a blend of Chinese Reflexology, Thai Acupressure Points, and Sen Line Work, that is similar to meridians in Chinese Medicine. This work seeks to unblock obstruction of energy flow through the body. Blockage of this flow is thought to be the cause of illness and discomfort. Thai foot massage is thought to stimulate and open those channels. In addition to manual pressure , we use a special Thai reflexology stick for acupressure to stimulate organ reflex points. 

Achy Muscle Massage

Eucalyptus and Spearmint epsom salt soaked towels are compressed on each body part and then client is massaged with muscle warming arnica oil. Great for post workout, biking, hiking, and all active lifestyle activities including but not limited to tennis, golf, basketball, soccer. 

CBD Massage

CBD oil is a derivative of cannabis, and is a effective natural muscle relaxant. It is safe for everyone because it’s applied to the skin as any massage oil. It is a botanical compound, doing more than just masking symptoms of chronic pain or inflammation. A study in Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research in June 2022, found that 36% of recipients found it to be effective in reducing joint inflammation,pain,anxiety,PTSD  associated with arthritis, among other conditions. 

Myofascial Massage

Myofascial massage is a technique used to treat injuries and discomfort, reducing pain and increasing range of motion. Myofascial massage differs from other types of massage in that it targets the fascia - the membrane surrounding muscles - rather than the muscle itself. Since fascia completely encases every muscle in the body, imbalances in the fascia can have serious effects on your range of motion and comfort level. While other forms of massage can overlook the fascia, myofascial massage focuses specifically on releasing tension in this important membrane.

Himalayan Vibration SoundMassage

Himalayan Sound Bowl (Vibrational) Massage-This unique treatment provides conventional massage (pressure of client preference), aromatherapy, and incorporates vibrational sound bowls. A profound experience, giving a massage both from the outside the body, and by vibrating the liquids in the body , a massage from inside the body out. The human body is made up of approximately 60% water, and much like when a pebble is thrown into a lake, the ripple effects of the sounds flow outward effecting brain wave patterns and allowing for the client to often fall into a REM sleep, half aware of surrounding, but also in that semi conscious relaxed state.

This internal massage is achieved as the bowls are gently played and placed in various tension points around the body, creating internal vibration. Music lovers in particular find this treatment deeply relaxing.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular (NMT)  therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins. I am certified in NMT for the cervical spine and cranium. This treatment is excellent for those individuals that suffer from TMJ or grind their teeth resulting in limited mobility of the neck, and frequent headaches.

Muscle Approximation

Muscle Approximation is a massage technique that attempts to push the two ends of a muscle towards each other. The theory is that this movement stimulates a response that helps relax the muscle. Effective for clients that have taut or highly contracted muscles. 

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Hot & Cold Circulation Boost

This massage utilizes hot and cold stones to create contrast and stimulate circulation and the immune system.  It is a well respected treatment for circulation near areas of injury (ie: sprain or strain) or areas of chronic pain. 

Warm Thai Herb Poultice Massage

Warm Thai Herbal Poultice Massage - A deeply relaxing massaging utilizing poultices made up of heated bundles of herbs (including cinnamon, ginger and eucalyptus) combining aromatherapy and manual massage using nourishing coconut oil. This treatment works along the Thai Sen Lines with flowing strokes for a deeply relaxing experience.

Coconut Poultice Massage - Same treatment as above utilizing heated poultices containing Shaved Coconut,  which is excellent for treating dry ,sensitive , or dehydrated skin. 

Cancer, Autoimmune & Diabetes

Oncology (Cancer) Massage is a special type of massage developed specifically for cancer patients. Additionally, there are 7,000 rare diseases that have been identified. Only 289 or less than 5% have specific treatment protocols, thus 95% of those with a variety of rare diseases (many of them autoimmune diseases) have no FDA approved medical protocol. The Mayo Clinic has come out in support of doctor approved massage performed by specially trained therapists for individuals with these conditions. Many of these patients have unique needs which must be addressed to make sure that a massage is beneficial to their health. Additionally, clients with Autoimmune Issues and Diabetics have certain contraindications and require a therapist to acquire special knowledge as well . I focus my attention on creating a gentle, nurturing environment for you to relax into.

Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. Cooling Sun Relief Massage

Full body massage with aloe Vera for soothing sun damage and Babasso oil for moisturizing. Babasso oil is extracted from seeds of the Babasso Palm, grown in the Amazon. It has moisturizing properties similar to coconut oil but is lighter on the skin. 

Face Massage

Face Massage- Can be booked as a add on to any treatment or booked as a stand alone massage.  Using my training as a facial specialist , as well as massage therapist,  I utilize techniques that can help with congestion or infrequent mild puffiness around the eye region.

Geriatric Massage

Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. A light to moderate pressure massage, the treatment helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.

Gua Sha facial is a facial that incorporates use of a specially designed tool,  dating back centuries according to Chinese tradition. It is used to relieve facial tension focusing on acupressure points. In addition, it is used for Lymphatic Drainage work that reduces puffiness and swelling. It Is recommended for increasing circulation and helping to alleviate fine lines and wrinkles, cystic acne, and it is a precision targeted treatment use to highlight the cheekbones and jawline. 

Collagen Facial

This facials’ focus provides applications of collagen , with the application of collagen eye treatments, serums,  and moisturizers.  It is a protein responsible for the skins strength and elasticity. It makes up approximately 25-35 % of the whole body protein content. It boosts the skin ability to help heal tissue. Degradation of collagen leads to wrinkles that accompany aging. Scalp Massage

Scalp Massage - I believe that when the mind relaxes, the body follows. This treatment can be added on to another massage or booked as a stand alone treatment. Applying pressure to specific points and/or hair brushing can help to calm the mind and relieve those prone to migraines or tension headaches 

Dry Full Body Scrub

Dry Full Body Scrub-Exfoliation by dry glove or brush, followed by exfoliation with body product that can be buffed off without the need of a shower, and finished off with a full body moisturizer. Excellent for change of season or quick pick me up glow for that special event. 

Paraffin feet and/or hands

Aromatic paraffin warm wax treatment to soften rough feet add on to any treatment. Expanded 30 minutes includes hands and feet add on to any treatment. 

Add-on Eye Treatment

Add on to your facial a collagen treatment that hydrates and reduces puffiness , smooths fine lines, reduces dark circles and bags under the eyes. 

Back Facial
